Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit, community-based volunteer organisation, operating with partial assistance from the Federal Government, working throughout Australia.  In Queensland, Meals on Wheels have been bringing local communities together for over 60 years. At our Stafford & District branch, we have been providing nutritious meals for over 40 years.

We deliver meals Monday to Friday to clients who need assistance, regardless of age or ability. Many of our clients are frail and aged, however we also offer delivered meals to clients recovering from surgery or an accident, have a short-term or chronic illness, or need nutritional care.

Meals on Wheels is “not drop and go; it’s stop and chat”. Our staff and an army of volunteers, whom we could not operate without, take their time to build meaningful relationships with our clients and their families.  Our regular interactions help clients maintain their health and wellbeing, independence and the ability to remain in their own homes.

We deliver hot, chilled or frozen meals to clients living in Alderley, Enoggera, Everton Park, Gordon Park, Herston, Kelvin Grove, Lutwyche, Newmarket, Stafford, Stafford Heights, Wilston, Windsor and surrounding suburbs. 

All meals are prepared and cooked by our talented chef and our wonderful kitchen staff,
who make all our nutritious meals on-site and fresh every day.
